instructor together for a working day. For one person, half a day is often sufficient. Driving licence, vehicle and eyesight checks are carried out and then both employees drive for about 20 minutes while the instructor carries out an assessment of their driving capabilities in a variety of traffic situations. A short debrief is followed by a demonstration drive from the instructor bringing out the points made in the debrief. The rest of the day is devoted to training with a second assessment for each driver towards the end of the day. A written report is completed at the end of the session for inclusion in the driver's training record.
